Last year, the East and West Coast Black Light clubs bet on who would win Roulette (that is, on which couple performed their scenes best - whatever that means).

Given the vast number of kinks represented, YMMV:ġ) "Introduction:" Jennifer Bene & Livia Grant. I do recommend this entry and the other "Roulette" books, however.īelow are my thoughts on and ratings for each story in order of appearance. That said, stories suffered from unnecessarily long intros and abrupt endings the technical language regarding the equipment at times overwhelmed this reader and some scenes and dynamics had a samey feeling to them (I realize that this is the fifth book).

Finally, I really appreciated that this entry features some diversity in sexual orientation and ethnic representation. I also enjoyed reading about some new kinks. Overall, I felt that this collection was more focused on fun and less on the "reluctant submissive"and "all-knowing dom" character types prevalent in the past books I liked this since both are overdone and usually involve arm-twisting that skirts the line of consent. As always, I appreciated the emphasis on safety, safe words, limits, and consent and that the prose and editing were decent. The "Roulette" books excel at combining a Smorgasbord of well-described kinks (unusually wide-ranging this year) with some character connection and growth - particularly admirable given the brevity of the novella format. While most are standalones, the bookend stories and Shane Starrett's include characters from previous books, and Renee Rose's entry revolves around characters from her new "Chicago Bratva" series.
PARTY PANIC REMATCH SERIES
Tiffarra Swift led (GLHS) with 9 points, while Shakira Faber and Ashley Gladden scored 6 each for (WES).This is the fifth in the Valentine's Day "Roulette" series featuring nine couples paired for the über-exclusive Black Light's BDSM contest. In the female game played on Tuesday, Lady (GLHS) defeated Lady (WES) by the score of 22-16. (ACC) will be trying to upset the more talented (SJC) squad, who may still be reeling following their loss to (WES) last Friday, and who may be a bit rusty having not played competively in 10 days. SJC are the favorites to win this game, having soundly beaten (ACC), 52-40, in their regular season match-up. On Monday the next male semi-final bracket will take to the court, featuring #2 seed (SJC) going up against #3 seeded Anglican Cathedral College (ACC). For (WES) to win this game they must put behind them the Tuesday loss and demonstrate from the get go that they are the superior team. If (GLHS) is able to control the tempo of the game and keep the score close, panic could step in for (WES), which could be their worst enemy. I expect (GLHS) to come out very loose, while (WES) may be a bit edgy and anxious which could work against them. If he is unable to change the tide, it may be a long Christmas for Mr. It will be interesting to see if Wesley head coach Frank Lord can swing the pendulum back in his favor and erase the bad memory of Tuesday. This loss, while being insignificant to Wesley and having no real bearing on their final seeding, was critical to (GLHS) in terms of building team confidence, getting rid of the intimidation factor and feeling good about their chances going into a huge semi-final match-up tonight at the City Center against the same team that they beat just three days ago. Wesley was led by Travis Lennan 19 points and Khalil Kutkelvin 5 points. Bernard Blades led (GLHS) with 16 points, while teammate Nuri Garbutt chipped in with 8 points.
