It largely depends on the local management and employees. That are others that go as cheap as possible on everything. There are Bowleros that oil lane, host leagues, and do everything right. If you live in a big enough area, you almost surely know which of your town's 4 Subways is 'the good one' and which is 'the bad one' - it's a lot like that. The algorithm will emphasize posts with more engagement and maybe the only topic that gets more negative posts in this sub would be one on string pins, lol. The thing is, the people who have good ones don't seem to drive the algorithm, because those are boring posts. Sure, this sub is very biased against them, and there is no lack of anecdotes from people about their local one. The next closest one is a bowlero, and I hear nothing but bad things about them on here. I only go during the day (working nights) so maybe that's it? Maybe it's better during a league night? Offset pins, small scratches on my balls from the machine. Has anyone else had similar problems with this place? It's not just this one as I've been to three in the area and they were all pretty bad. Halfway through the first game today, I looked at the bottom of my shoe and it was covered in glitter. I have the Team Brunswick shoes and am using the front and heel with the most slide and my foot won't budge. I have gone 4 different times recently and there is zero slide on the approaches. The approaches have not been swept, let alone cleaned properly. You can see footprints and big patches where there is no oil, presumably from kids falling down/sliding around in the oil. Seems like the lanes haven't been oiled in a week.
